Been lurking for a few weeks while making up my mind about selling or improving my 98' LC.
It has 180k miles on it, but living in Nicaragua you will be hard pressed to find a better vehicle, especially when it comes to parts availability (still need to get lots of stuff from the US.
Here she is in her current state:

Came with a lift, sliders and a bull bar. Just got a new set of tires (305/70/16), maybe a bit too aggressive for road driving, but most roads around where I live are still pretty bad.
Paint is badly scratched, faded and peeled, so I am planning on giving her a whole new look including new matte color and trim and turn her into the dragon cruiser:

A big thanks to all of you. I already found a lot of help and changed my coils and rear stabilizer bushings ( both great improvements) and tomorrow I will get new racking parts on both sides (sorry for the missing lingo, but everything has a different name around here ...).
very glad to have found this place.

Looks good! What lift is on it? Perfect size IMO regarding the lift and tire sizing.l

Honestly I don't know the exact specs. Maybe some more experienced owners can tell from the pics.
I agree though. I think it looks well proportioned.

Nice blue. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you, but not much longer. The driver side has some really bad scratches.
I took the plunge and bought matte dark grey and matte black vinyl.
Prepping the car next week and then will have the wrap done.
Will be interesting to see how it comes out :)

Can't wait to see the new paint job!

It's getting prepped right now, wheels are getting painted matte dark grey (like my old Russian military trailer :) ) and I took some ideas from members here and will have the surrounds of the tail lights and 3rd brake light painted matte black.
I am flying out on Friday and will leave the car to be wrapped.
Hopefully it will be done when I come back next week.
