Hey guy, I've been having a problem with my 4runner last few months. When i get in the vehicle and drive right away after a minute or two my throttle response is randomly being lost. I am forced to coast to the side of the road and once idle drops i regain throttle response. At first i thought it was maybe something to do with the transmission slipping but my local trans shop in town here insured me that it wasn't transmission related. Next I tried replacing idle control sensor with no luck. Any ideas?

Clogged fuel filter? Does it happen repeatedly or just at startup? Maybe a bad TPS otherwise. Does it happen near empty tank ie pump got loose?
