I'm the original owner of this '98 4Runner (240k miles) and the time has come to put a lift on and some real tires. I am hoping to fit a 34-35" tire and have some fun with it. I don't want to spend a ton of money, but also don't want to put any junk under her. She's about as bone stock as you can get other than the wheels from my old Tacoma. The brush guard was a dealer installed option that I didn't want but they weren't taking it off when I bought it and I have grown to like it.
Ideas and recommendations are very welcome!
First on the agenda is to replace the LBJ's and some of the bushings in the front suspension/steering as it gets a little scary over about 65 mph.
