98-07 Genuine Toyota 100 series and LX470 Brake Booster with Accumulator

It seems like quite a few of 100 series is concern about the brake booster with accumulator failing. Yet is hard to swallow the high cost of this item.

I am thinking to offer a potential group buy. Of course it is as usual the parts I offer New Genuine Toyota Parts, What you guys think? Fit all 100 series from 98-07. Part number: 47070-60010, Dealer list is $1842.75.

Price is $1130 plus ride.

I'm interested and would like to know what that part includes. It's my understanding that either the brake MS or the accumulator can fail (either being very expensive). Which part is this? Is it, essentially, both?

This is the Brake booster with accumulator, not including the master cylinder. Master cylinder usually can be rebuilt before failure with Piston Rebuilt kit 04493-60330 for about $50.

Hey do you know what part numbers I need for a rebuild I really don’t wanna spend the full price tag on a new one.

This is the Brake booster with accumulator, not including the master cylinder. Master cylinder usually can be rebuilt before failure with Piston Rebuilt kit 04493-60330 for about $50.

Whatever I need to do to get it to stop beeping at me when I turn the truck on the brakes still work pretty good.

Only thing you can rebuilt in the master cylinder is to replace the piston. Piston Rebuilt kit 04493-60330, I carry this and it is $59. If the motor is bad, you can send it off for rebuild of replace with new motor.
