I have a chance at picking up a tacoma about a 97 with the rear frame rot issue.. now it was back to the dealer and stayed ther for a month but Toyota decided not to do anything recall wise with this truck as it had previously had an "R" tittle. It was in a wreck years ago and repaired.. drives nice and cant tell it was ever hurt.. it was fixed buy one of the guys at the body shop.. so I believe it has about 120k on it,, in near spotless condition.. He said for me $800... Anybody here rebuild the rear frame before?? any pictures.. I can weld and have built trailers before.. Thinking about pulling the bed and building a flatbed to help re-inforce if it is bad.. so whaty do you think?? I'm looking at it tomorrow.. I had an 83 toy and an old fj,, but both are long gone now,, would be nice to have another toy..
