97 80 series FS in NorCal $6000. - SOLD!!!

I'm selling our 1997 80 series Cruiser as we have just purchased (upgraded) to a 100 series and couldn't convince the :princess: to let me keep both.

Truck is in good shape and would be a good vehicle to dedicate to offroading. I'm pretty sure we're the second owners, (carfax says 1 owner) and have had it for about 4 years. It has never been in any accidents. It has always been a California car. We bought it from Roseville Pontiac Buick GMC at 160K miles. Carfax shows it lived in Auburn until we bought it and took it to Gilroy, then up here, so there's no rust.

We did recently have some engine work done after hearing a loud rattle noise when driving up a hill and losing oil pressure. The shop dropped the pan and found the #4 crankshaft bearing spun. They replaced all the crankshaft bearings, and inspected everything else and said it looked okay. I always ran mobil 1 Syn. and the shop said the engine was very clean inside, no sludge anywhere. It drives okay, we drove it up to Tahoe and back last weekend with no problem. There is still a rattle noise from the engine at around 3K RPM for a quick second when shifting. Also, the distributor o-ring appears to have started leaking, as well as the t-case speed sensor o-ring. And lastly, the rubber insulator for the muffler is gone, so the exhast rattles against the slider sometimes.

Here are the specs:

216xxx miles

Factory Lockers, (rear is not engaging)

Black with tan interior, all seats good except driver's seat stitching is coming undone in two spots.

OME heavy lift with J springs

5X 285/75R16 Goodyear MTR, lots of tread spare has never touched the road

ARB winch bullbar, (no winch)

Hanna Quality sliders

Kaymar rear bumper, with right side swing-out tire carrier, and telescoping light

George's domelights, with LED's in doors as well

Elecronic trailer brake controller

Yakima load bars

All the Surf 'n Turf Stickers except for the 1st, and last!!!

I realize that there will most likely be some additional work needed, so I'm asking $6000. This price is very reasonable considering KBB is much higher even for a "fair" condition. Not to mention all the extra's listed above. This may be a good buy for a newbie who doesn't want to take the time to build up a rig from scratch. Ready to offroad.

We are located in El Dorado Hills, Ca. 95762 East of Sacramento. My cell# is (916) 934-9357 or offroadkid@gmail.com

I ran a Carfax on it, it's good, but don't know how to link it to here.

I don't have any driveway shots right now, so I'll post some pics for tonight of it out and about.

Tomorrow I will take some daylight pics of the interior, engine, etc. if it's not raining too much.

SOLD!!!
