For Sale '96 LX for sale

1996 LX450, Minor fixer. Factory locked, Arb front, Kmar rear, Rock Sliders, Cats turned, "3 Emu lift. mildly rear ended and fixed by TLC in Van Nuys Ca, no frame issues. Recently heavy nock in engine at 199k. Head was rebuilt at 170k but you will need to dig in anyway. I have verbal est of $1500. Needs ps rebuild. Has New discs (breaks and pds) and replaced leaky berfield. Interior is better than avg... and it’s a Lexus so all the goodies. You know the deal, they crawl like nobodies business. I work motion pic and hit a slowdown, let a lone putting $$ into it. Purchased from a dealership owner in 04 who never wheeled it. I did limited wheeling, john bule in big bear, calico, local stuff N LA county. A little in Kern. Never made it to Red Rock, or Tahoe. Crying as I type. The rest of the time it was a grocery getter.
Kelly BB says $6600 in fair less $1500 for rebuild. +$2500 upgrades,
valued at $7600. You can drive it away if you live close. Registered, but no smog.

Sounds like a nice rig, too bad it developed a rod knock. Do you have any pics? Did someone really quote you 1500 to fix it? That seems like a killer deal to me, an engine rebuild is typically far more expensive than that.
