I bought this in the fall just to get me through the winter so I didn't have to drive my FJ40 in the salt. Spring is here so it's for sale. It was an ideal winter beater - always started, 4WD works great and it's very sure footed in the snow. Very comfortable and easy to drive.
V6

4WD
auto
power windows, locks, mirrors
power sunroof
A/C
Aftermarket remote starter
otherwise factory stock - no mods
newish Firestone WinterForce tires - probably 3-4K miles on them - great snow tires, decent dirt tires, quiet on the road
leather seats - pretty worn
Interior is pretty clean, nothing badly broken or ugly.
pretty rusty - rear wheel wells are ruined, tailgate pretty much ruined cosmetically but functional, axle/frame/suspension seem solid, lots of little bits of surface rust, bottoms of doors are going to go bad eventually, some holes in the bumpers
lots of shallow dents
Needs a new stereo - the factory radio works, the CD player doesn't, not sure about the tape deck, at least one blown speaker. I used it with an iPod and FM transmitter to get me through the winter.
Everything electric works I think.
The A/C might not work. Cold air doesn't come out. I have not investigated (it's cold here).
Mechanically in decent shape. When I got it the brake light and check engine light were on and it was leaking coolant, oil, and brake fluid. So I:
- Hooked up some loose vacuum hoses, added some SeaFoam to the gas, and replaced the oxygen sensor. The check engine light (it was throwing a "lean signal" code, which is usually a bad oxygen sensor) hasn't come on since and the gas mileage went from 15 to 22 mpg on the highway.
- Had some brake lines replaced. They weren't rusty, they were improperly installed and rubbing on the front suspension and leaking. All new fluid, brakes work great now.
- Started using 20W-50 Rotella and the oil and coolant leaks stopped. Maybe it swelled up some seals.
- replaced some burned out dash lights with LED bulbs, which are much brighter than the originals
- remounted the fuel fill door by epoxying it back onto its hinge bracket (when I got the truck I found the door in the back seat). The spring and latch are missing so the remote release doesn't work. It's easy to open if you know the trick but otherwise frustrating, so it should be reasonably secure from casual fuel thieves
This vehicle is subject to two recalls from Toyota, for the head gasket and a steering arm. I didn't bother fully investigating because I knew I would only have it for a few months. Neither recall has a time limit. If you take it to a Toyota dealer they will replace the head gasket and steering arm for free. Doing the steering arm is a good idea. Obviously the coolant leak had me worried about the head gasket, but it has stopped and I haven't seen other evidence of badness.
I paid $3000 for it in November and spent about $300 on it. I am asking $2800 in the local newspaper.

It's in Marquette, Michigan. I will meet you at the airport or hand it off to your shipper.

Parked on a little side hill, so the driver's side rear is compressed a bit:
