So just took delivery of a 1992 Hzj73. Its an auto transmission with electric hubs. All my previous 4x4 experience involves shift on the fly, so I have a couple questions. I know to put into 4 Hi, I need to push the hub lock button on the dash, followed by the H4 button next to it. Im assuming the lever on the floor needs to be in H as well?
When the dash buttons are not engaged, does the floor lever need to come back to N or can I leave it in H?
Beginner questions I know, but I have to start somewhere. The truck came with an owners manual but its all in Japanese obviously and google translate only goes so far! Thanks!
