Hey everyone, looking to sell my 91’. I know it’s not the best truck out there but it is what it is. Reason to sell it is because it has been a money pit since I bought it in August last year. Previous owner had 10k in preventative maintenance done by Gary over at Mudrak in San Francisco. It’s has 212k miles on it but the odometer reads 112k due to original owner turning the odometer back in 01’ to sell. It is documented in the carfax and holds a clean title but that seems to steer people away. The truck has ran great the past 9 months until last week (have another post about it on mud about that). Radiator needs to be replaced which I have a new one in the back along with other new parts I never got around to. Brand new tires and more have recently been installed before the no start. Looking for a rough estimate as is and up and running to see if it’s worth spending time and money to get up and running.

Well, good thing its a 91 with a more reliable motor, or you wish to spend more money on rebuilding the head and potentially out 5-8k on what most 1fz owners call "Preventive Maintenance" ...lol

True, part of the 10k that went into was a lot of head gasket maintenance.

It's almost always worth getting a vehicle running to maximize sale value. At least get a diagnosis to figure out how much it would cost to fix. More info, such as work Mudrak did and a link to your other thread could be helpful. Cali car, no rust, so it's worth something!
