i was having typical efi main relay symptoms, when it finaly wouldnt star i replaced it,it cranked idled rough for a few seconds then died.checked fuel pump no probs, proceeded to ignition text no spark, checked ohm resistance cables are all fine.came to the conclusion that it was igniter, bought used igniter on ebay and no spark, decided to replace (new)coil,no spark, replaced pickup coil(new distributer)no spark.replaced ecu,no spark,im getting 12 volts to coil on one side and getting 12 volt on 2 pins TO the igniter,im back to thinking its the igniter but after all the fustration and money spent im a lil gunshy about spending cash on the igniter.one last thing i tried to run a diagnosis but my cel doesnt kick on,any help would greatly be appreciated

...checked fuel pump no probs...

I'm no expert on this, but I've read that others have had problems with the fuel pump relay. Maybe you checked that, but just to throw it out there in case that was missed.

I don't know any of the specifics on the fuel pump relay. Try search or someone who's been through that may chime in.

thanks guys, there is no cel and the fuel pump relay is new,i had relocated the relay into the cab a few years back, pump is kicking on im just not getting a spark at wires or coil, also did all risistance checks on maf everything is in spec,o2sensors and tps are new aswell.

unplug mass air flo sensor then try to start if it starts then thats your problem GUARANTEED i went through it too so dont feel bad. pricey part the maf . i paid 900$ for mine new aftermarker airtex. the maf is prone to shorts from the electrical system. i shorted mine out pulling the plug on the oil sending switch, the wires pulled out and touched together and no start.Replace the EFI Main Relay, it can cause this problem. Check for battery voltage with the key on at the +B terminal of the diagnostic connector under the hood on the passenger side. If there is no voltage on the +B terminal, check for battery voltage into and out of the EFI Main Relay. If there is battery voltage on the +B terminal of the diagnostic connector, unplug the Airflow Meter and see if the Check Engine Light comes on key on then (in case the Airflow Meter is shorted pulling the 5-volt reference to ground) and check the Green/Red wire at the Airflow Meter for 5-volt reference from the computer. i know thats the problem for a fact

so shiny and new
