Interested in seeing the lift with the comp coils and the 255 tires.

I passed a Miata (and every other vehicle on the road) coming down a mountain pass on I-90. Seriously great suspension now. I was not pushing it and had nearly no body roll. 75mph limit with 45 mph suggestion on those turns. I was just gliding around those turns at 70-75. Could hardly do it at 55-60 with the old springs. I always thought my 255 KM2's were leaning over on turns. Nope. It was those 850/860 springs. This experience has been matched off road now too. The lesson I think I learned is that spring rate is important to match to the tires as well as vehicle weight/height. I got a very counter-intuitive result by going to much stronger springs. Everything got smooth, sedate, controlled, and quieter. I believe my E Load KM2's were just putting too much upward force on those other overtaxed springs. Though, I think them being overtaxed had more to do with why the anti-roll bars couldn't keep body roll down.

This E load 255 KM2 + 418/421 combo feels downright sporty now unlike the lumbering and jittery machine I had before. Oh, and I was getting 15+ mpg on my Canada trip with stock diff gears and plenty of extra weight over stock.

Click on these and they should blow up pretty big. There's little to no stinkbug. Partly because the fronts are 300lb/inch and the rears are 280lb/in. This is without my 4' x 7' ARB roof rack on.

Looks great! So these aren't much taller than the 850/863? Can you measure from the center of the hub to the wheel well for me?

Oops, just realized we are hijacking someone else's thread. Sorry.

Thanks! I got them for performance reasons and just got lucky that they fixed my issue. My friend here has basically the same armor setup with 285's, 850/863 and there is a noticeable difference. Mine is noticeably taller. My L shocks will be here tomorrow. I just trimmed the metal off the front control arm brackets tonight to accommodate Slee's caster plates. Just have to get OEM bushing put back in.

Granted, the vehicle is sitting in an angled downward parking space with a full tank of gas, here are the measurements:

DS front: 23.5"
PS front: 24.0"
PS rear: 23.25"
DS rear: 23.75"

How does that compare? I've never seen these types of measurements.

Yeah, this is a bit of a hijack, but then at least it keeps get taken to the top.

Do you still have the shocks? I am in Knoxville and could pick them up! How much BTW?

It is a pretty common measurement, and basically takes differences in tire size out of the equation. Could you post the result on this thread as well for future reference?
