9005/HIR1/9011 Comparison (3 Viewers)

Thanks for the info. Seems pretty surprising, but I like your due diligence with how you came to your conclusion. Any plans for testing the low beams (hir2/9012) ?

9011/9012 are great upgrades to the 9005/9006 bulbs. They (typically) use the exact same power to provide a much better focused light, pretty much resulting in much more light output from the housing you're using them in. Just don't do it in fog light housings or you'll have nasty glare no matter how well you aim them.

Something else to keep in mind is to only replace 9005 with 9011 and 9006 with 9012. Never vice-versa.

My truck has HID low beams, so no opportunity to test the HIR2/9012 bulbs.
