Selling my 1990 2WD Toyota pickup truck. I bought this to replace my 89 4WD truck cause I couldn't find a much-needed transmission for the 89. I stumbeld across a good one last week and am going to resurrect the 89. So, the 90 goes up for sale.
It's a good and unusual truck, it's an SR5 without power windows and door locks but does have factory aluminum wheels and sunroof. Has the real nice interior with buckets and console and has the good gauge dash, too. Yes it's an XCab and the back seat looks like nobody ever used it. The interior isactually quite nice. Truck is red with brown interior.
It's a V6 with automatic overdrive transmission and has oodles of power. Engine seems very strong, drivetrain works as it should. Has good oil pressure and a steady temperature gauge. Brakes work fine as does steering. has a recent PA inspection (good till April 09 if I remember correctly). Stock radio plays great and has very good reception, AC blows cold and heater/defroster works fine. All gauges work. Sunroof works perfectly and there are no leaks in this truck. Has adjustable intermittent wipers, too. Tires are decent. Did I mention the original jack and tool kit are there and they're unmolested? It also has the original owners manual.
An old man (80+) owned this truck and it has some scars. The grille is less than perfect and the front end has some other minor scarring. Not bad but thought I'd mention it. Both lower rear quareter panels are dented behind the tires and below the belt line. Otherwise the bed is in very good shape. There is some rust starting at the bottom rear corner of at least one of the doors- again it's not bad but it's there.
All in all this is a relatively clean, good running depnedable truck, somewhat unique and a turn key purchase for someone. I know of nothing that needs to be done to it, in fact I have it here at work today. Would prefer to sell to someone who can just come and drive it and take her home, am not interested in taking and sending a hundred pictures of a $1600 truck. Of course I have a clear PA title in my name. Mileage is 128,000 and no, I don't know if the heads were ever off the V6 engine. Shmukster in northeast PA not far from Rausch Creek offroad park.
