Fordyce trail is arguably tougher than Rubicon. This is my most expensive (trail damage) trail. The goal of this trip is to make it out the upper section through Meadow Lake.

Well I'm up for it! But can't go alone. I don't think Mike is rolling yet. Anyone else going? It would be tough to have a year when we don't get to run Fordyce. Still have the squeak in my drivetrain somewhere.

I think this will be the first year I've not run Fordyce since I've been in the club, but it just isn't going to happen for me.

Ahhhhhhh come on. This is killing me. I leave for Vegas tomorrow and won't be back till friday night. So at this point I guess the run is a no go for me and the club. Anyone who can go; please post up now so we can do this on sat. Maybe I'll go alone for a short run from cisco river crossing to Meadow Lake.

It's a done deal for me. I'm not going to make this one. Thanks for the uplifting thought Rusty, this's the first Fordyce I've missed. Errrr.

Hey Rusty,
If it is the death wobble cause of your tires that is keeping you from the run--I have the remedy in my garage. I have a set of 37 swampers on crome you could use or a set of 35in BFG muds on metal rims. There yours to use for the weekend if you still want to go and that is whats holding you up. Also any rider would be welcome. If I go alone I may tow the beast to eagle exit, drive the crusier to cisco rd up to the river crossing and run the trail backwards to the start. Much easier that way--less chance of breakage or needing a strap-- a few spots like at pinch rock going to Meadow lake can be hairy without a spotter so that may not be the prudent thing to do. Just thinkin guys. ANYONE?
