Subject says it all, good lightly built expedition or desert exploration vehicle. Would be a good wheeler with a rear locker. Higher miles but in good shape and well maintained and newer engine.

Bump for a nice truck.

Planning on getting the 55 on the road by the time this sells?

Well good luck with the sale anyway! I'm sure you've got something up your sleeve to replace this pickup.

Funny because I have two of them.. I also have a clean '91 extra cab that I was considering moving in to as well. But right now I hate to say it but right now I'm just looking at regular-old powerstroke diesels, a good tow rig/daily driver... Slow down some of the projects so I can devote more time to... The 55!

Bump for a good guy/rig.

Thanks guys... I'm realizing the higher miles are turning a lot of folks off which makes sense (I would be too)... Bummer as it really is a solid truck, about as solid as they come given the mileage...

Anywhoo, I dropped the price to $2999 OBO, I'm realizing I'm gonna have to take less for it than I'd like.

I also have a decent set of 32's, two in OK shape, two pretty worn, on some American Outlaw IIs. With those I'd knock another $400 off...

Cheers,
Andre

Still asking $3G OBO, I might put on the junk tires and just drop to $2500... Bummer, such is life.

thanks guys...

Hi Andre,
I am looking for a good little truck.
was the engine a new one or is it a rebuild of the old one?
You say little rust, where is that please?
What are the other potential problems? are the axles leaking...

I am in California, so I would have to pass emissions here. Do you think that would be a problem? do you know if the headers are smog legal (I know this is unlikely, but I have to ask).

thanks, cheers,
Jan

Thanks guys...

Jan, not sure on them.. They're Downey headers so from California.. All 02 sensors etc are all still there. As much as this is a good little truck I'm not 100% sure it would be worth it to drive all the way out as they are around there for not too much more... It is pretty clean, has plenty of knicks and dings here and there... There are a couple rust spots though here and there. The engine was a low miles takeout out of a wrecked junkyard truck. This came from the PO who was an acquaintance and I remember talking to him all about it when it happened. The AC also doesn't work so not sure if that effects you in Cali where you live. Cosmetically all smog is there so it would visually pass. It burns a little oil just like most 3VZ's and even 22REs but there is a slight smell in the exhaust so I really don't know.

I hope it helps and thanks for posting...

Thanks, Andre

Thank you. I think I'll look locally for now. I need a pickup for the acreage, and it needs to be in good enough shape to be taken to Baja, when friends come and the Cruiser is not enough.
cheers, good luck,
Jan
