I have an 89ext cab for sale. I will update this thread later tonight but I just wanted to get this up.

89 ext cab
250k on truck
30k on rebuilt engine. It was bought by a coworker of mine with a thrown rod. He is a Lexus master tech and rebuilt another engine and did the swap. He drove it for around two years before I bought it.
31" tires
4x4
4:10 gears
4runner seats

$4500
At my asking price I will include the new Softopper a set of 4:88 gears + install kit for the rear and a stock 4:88 complete front diff.

The only problem is intermittently the shift solenoids skip 2nd. I can fix this for a serious buyer but I haven't fixed it because I wanted to do a 5sp swap.

Here are a few pics I snapped the other night per request. Sorry the interior is dirty but I havent cleaned it since hunting but you can see the 4Runner seats. I had the water main break at my house so I havent had much time to get better pics.

The frame is good. These are the best pics I could get of a repair I welded in to fix a 2x4" rust hole that started around a body plug. Welded most of the way with a few screws where I couldnt weld due to the bed being in the way. Then it was seamsealed.

We have a few guys like that here at Lexus of Annapolis. I've been a tech there for around 7 years.

He said it's getting more and more hectic with the recalls (fuel rails etc.). He also said that the new V6 is going to be a real PITA due to problems which was put in alot of toyotas. From what he told me, apparently toyota didn't do its normal 1,000,000 mile test on the engine and it has a ton of cam/ upper engine problems. I guess it's the price to pay when you become the powerhouse in the autoworld.

This is a good rig with a rebuild. The motors are fine once rebuilt. The seller is even better. Bump for a cool ass truck.

Sorry man, I got a little off the subject. A friend of mine is a master tech at a Lexus dealership. I was commenting on the NEW V6's they have along with other recalls. Not the 3.0 headgasket eater.
