It's not worth investing 2500 bucks into a conversion for an 800 dollar truck.
yep, go buy one and fix it up. conversion will nickel and dime you.
Try to find the 4 wheel drive model of your truck that's not running and take the tranny, transfer case, front drive shaft, front axle/axles and put them in. But your better off putting your motor (if it runs) in the broke down 4 wheel drive if you can find it.
Buy a new truck.
Most of the van conversions use the front axle and suspension out of late '90s ford 250 and 350. Solid axle and leaf springs.
