I have decided to sell my 1988 Suzuki Samurai with Toyota axles. I had big plans for this Sammi but they never got off the ground because of my other projects. This is a very nice and well taken care of truck with low miles. It only has 125k original miles. The top is in really good shape with no rips and is easily removed. The truck also has an am/fm cd player with 2 speakers in the front. It has the 1.3 liter engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. The truck runs and drives great on the street or trail and the transmission and transfer case shift smoothly. It has a spring over axle lift with Toyota axles and 31x10.5 BFG mud terrain tires. The axles have 4:10 gear ratio. I have receipts to show where the previous owner had $1700 worth of work done on the truck in May of 2008. The rear brakes have been completely redone with new drums, shoes, cylinders, adjusters, brake lines and all new hardware. The front brakes have also been redone with new rotors, calipers, pads, and brake lines. Both axles also have new wheel bearings and all new seals. The clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing were also replaced. The truck also has a Trail Tough heavy duty transfer case cross member and skid plate. I built a front winch bumper for the truck but the winch is not included. As you can tell from the pictures, the Sammi is in really good shape with only a little bit of rust on the driver’s side rocker panel. The truck has a vibration in the rear driveline at about 20-25 mph. I have been told that a front CV driveline from a 79-85 Toyota will work as a rear driveline in this Sammi and cure the vibration problem. This Sammi would make someone a great trail truck or daily driver. Price is $2500 obo. Feel free to call me with any questions.
