Alright I have a 87 Grand Wagoneer. Before I moved from California it drove and ran great. I left it with a friend in Stagecoach NV. I don't know how much interest everyone will have in the jeep itself.
It has the 5.9L that the Dodge Durango has in it. The motor is pretty new.

OK the main reason that I'm putting it up here is because of the Axles. I have been told that it has Dana 44s front and rear. This is the reason that I'm posting it here.

Feel free to make an offer.

If it's original, it's not the 5.9L that the durangos came with, which was a fuel injected dodge magnum 360. The 5.9L that came in the grand wagoneers was an AMC 360, really the same in displacement only. The 727 in that grand wagoneer has an AMC specific bolt pattern, and can only bolt up to an AMC v8. Transfercase, if stock, is a new process model 229, which has a viscous coupler and can be run in four high on dry pavement. It can be taken out of four wheel drive, unlike a lot of full time rigs out there (80s and 100s for example).

Stock, it will have dana 44s front and rear, and be either 2.73 or so to 1 gearing, with the trailer tow package being 3.31:1s. Dana 44s require a new carrier if you want anything lower (numerically higher) than 3.92:1. The front will be spring under, drivers side drop, the rear is spring over. The front will not have unlocking hubs because of the full time transfercase.

I've had a few of these things, figured I'd post the details.

Wow you know a lot more about it than I do. It's a good jeep. The engine was replaced by the original owners due to a fire under the hood because of some shady mechanics. The went all out too. They replaced everything and had it all painted you can't tell there was ever a fire. The engine only had about 50k or so on it. It has the towing package just to let everyone know. Also the tires that are on it only have about 2000 miles or so on them if I remember right. Also the original owners and the guy I bought if from kept meticulas paperwork on everything that was done to it. I'd like to get it out of my friends front yard.

So someone make me an offer.

Well let me call the guy who has it sitting in his yard and see if he can take a picture or two or 5 for me.

Crap I just found out that the people that were taking care of it for me had someone hit it in there driveway and it was pretty screwed up so they had the local pick and pull in Carson City come pick it up. Guess the whole back end was mashed and all the windows on the passenger side and the rear window were all smashed up.

I'm pretty ticked that they didn't call me when it happened I was really looking Fwd to giving it a good home. Even smashed I could have sold it for something.
