Looked at a 12/86 fj60 on Fathers day with full intent to buy this rig.
Unfortunately, it has body cancer bad. Rear fender wells bad. Passenger door bottom toast. Rockers not so good. Rear rockers behind wheel bad. Center of hood has a rust demon. Right rear quarter has a good ding.
The good- Interior - absolutely mint . Dash mint. Original grommet mint to open lift gate. Original a/c(not hooked up). Headlight washers intact, but not working. Mint steering wheel.
Engine bay. Average . Aftermarket chevy radiator. Needs the usual plugs, wires etc.
99k miles. A great candidate for maybe a diesel conversion.
I would spend $1200-$1400 at best.
