I'm not a mechanic. But how difficult/expensive is the job to fix the oil leak, if it is what you say?

I'm in Denton (north of Dallas). Really, I'm looking for a toyota pickup, but may be interested in a 60. Interested in a partial trade for a motorbike (Honda XR650L)?

Again, let me make very clear: There is no oil LEAK. It is burning oil.

The valve stem seal job should take a decent mechanic 2-3 hours. This may take a new guy 6 hours worst case scenario.

I may be interested in partial trade. Email me pics.

Hey Zulu, 'bout that oil leak...........No, just kidding. I hear the pain in you 'voice'.

Just a reminder about my possible 40 trade, and a bump for ya. Keep me in mind.

Its probably a pretty even trade; I just know I really don't have time for another project. On another note, if your not busy the Friday after thanksgiving were probably gana do a shake down run on the missionary HJ60 at Barnwell.

Good luck on the pending sale. Hope it goes thru. I really kind of wanted yours, but totally understand the lack of time for a project. That's my problem exactly. I probably should have offered you mine and some money. Yours is a lot closer to useable for me. Oh well.

I never heard back from you about the parts for the missionary 60. Assumed you didn't need what I have. Sorry I haven't had any time to contribute. My schedule really has been crazy since before the wedding. Not sure I can partake in the Black Fri trip to Barnwell either. I've got family in town. I passed on a trip up there last wknd too. Missing it. Enjoy.

Josh - thanks for all your help (and james) on getting the FJ60 to Austin. I got it the rest of the way to SAT this evening. Thanks again - and no surprises when I got looking into it - you described it well. I'll keep you posted.
