86 fj 73 3f Darby issue, won't idle ??? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, got this fj73 as a swap for an old falcon I had lying around,
Long story short I found the accelerator pump rod seal was very worn, it would run and idle fine on both petrol and lpg, but on fast acceleration on petrol it would die,
Anyway after a clean and rebuild of the carb the thing will not idle on fuel, seems to run fine under load but no idle ???
Any help is much appreciated

Did you rebuild the carb? When a shop does it,they usually have a test bench where it can be checked and adjusted at various speeds. If a shop did it ,I would be giving it back to them.
Checked the spark plugs?
