Be happy to if I knew where to find it...any suggestions?

As far as I know, it's usually on the door jam, but this one's in japanese, and my non existant japanese leaves a little to be desired...

I don't know specifically where to find it on BJ74, but my understanding is that it is usually printed on the id tag in the door jam. If there isn't a tag in the door jam, maybe there is one in the glove box or under the hood?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm in the US and the vehicle has to be at least 25 years old (based on build date) to be imported to the US if not originally sold in North America.

Thanks for looking,

Clem

Extra pic since the ones on CL are so small...

Wish its a LHD. I should have bought it. Good price though. Got one myself but converted from RHD to LHD. Goodluck with the sale.

Phil,

Thanks for taking the time to find the info I asked for.

It is my understanding that I would have to wait until 2/2011 to import it to the US. If it isn't sold by then, I'll gladly purchase it from you.

Good luck with your sale!

Clem

Received a couple PMs, so I thought I'd add that the truck is in Mission, BC, about an hour east of Vancouver.

Price can be negotiated somewhat for a quick sale. If it doesn't go soon, I'm just going to hang on to it after moving.

Great looking Bruiser!

I see the CL ad is gone; should we assume it sold? If not, are the cosmetic issues rust, or some body damage (or both)?

Sorry, posted a new CL ad and forgot to update my post here. Should be good now - still for sale.

As far as cosmetic issues...it's got one patch of rust on the left rocker just in front of the left rear wheel well, at the very bottom edge of the body. A couple interior plastic trim pieces are cracked - lower section of the plastic that wraps around the steering column (near the light/washer stems) and the portion of the center console that holds the rear heater fan speed selector switch.

Running out of time...price dropped again.

Under 8Gs seems cheap to me, am I out of line here? I haven't seen many 74s go for less than 12, and this one's got the OME kit that most 'cruiser fans seem to speak highly of. :meh:

IMOP Now you are giving it away. OH well good luck. Bump for the 74
