Up for sale is my 1986 Toyota 4Runner. I purchased this truck from the original owner. I had planned on keeping this for ever hence when I redid it I used mostly OEM parts. But I also never thought I would by another boat but I did. The 4runners tow capacity is not enough to tow my new boat so I'm selling it.
Here's a list of what's been done:
-Brake Master
-brake rotors
-pads
-new steering stabilizer
-clutch master
-clutch slave
-timing chain
-steel guides
-tensioner
-timing cover
-water pump
-a/c switched to R134 (did the finger nail test..it's cold)
-powder coated valve cover and intake
-intake was acid dipped to clean out carbon
-new TPS
-blue printed fuel injectors
-LCE header
-Enigine builder cam
-New rocker assembly
-Head completely gone through (told best looking head he had ever seen!? Probably tells everyone that?)
-all new gaskets and seals including oil pan
-tires have lots of tread
-swapped out Warn hubs for Aisin hubs.
-cone filter added
-Zuk mod with out cutting bump stop.
Everything works except digital clock. When they installed the CD player they used the power from the digital clock. I don't know why but they did. Probably an easy fix.
All center console buttons work including rear window lock and controller (up/down). Rear window works also and so does the cargo light.
The bad: clutch needs to be replaced and if your going to do that might as well do the rear main seal. See pics for rust areas.
