I have a power steering box out of my 85 pickup that was in fair condition with no leaks. Only reason I pulled it is I wanted to go crossover from day 1 and finally found all the parts through the Marlin Forum. $50

would that P/S pump work on a 89 3.0 buddy of mine has one thats starting to leak

This a sterring box not the pump. Steering was different after 85 on the mini trucks.

Like Living in the past said, this is the steering box only and it will work on 85 and earlier trucks with the forward swinging arm, or to upgrade a 40 to power steering with some minor modification.
I may have to pick up some tabs on a Saturday if you are going to be around. I could hold the steering box and that CB for you if you want? Even if I don't get tabs soon, the conversation and cruiser history is worth the drive.
I also have the mount from the pickup that goes with it.

Do you by chance have a set of rear hatch lift struts (can need major refurbishing) and associated hardware you'd be willing to part with?

I should have some. Other then struts not sure what else there is. Just fixed nuts in the hatch and hard top.

Yep, just the struts and the mounting brackets that are part of the strut. I could possibly come down this evening if you have them in town, I will bring the CB and steering box.

I did a little checking and found the set I knew I had. A little surface rust on the chrome. But does affect how they work. Brackets attach to both end them. These were stored with the nut loose so no pressure was on the springs. Let me know.

They will work, I have the hydraulic struts that replace the springs and I will be refurbishing them. Thanks again, these are just as hard to find as good door plugs.
