Hey guys, so my alt died around 2 weeks ago right before a weekend trip, so I got another one fitted it, all good, the next day not charging, pulled the old reg out (external ) and took it to the local auto elec who supplied another one NOW, the original one had no visible part number and it appears this new one is crook (overcharging)
On idle sits around 14.7 v
And occasionally jumps over 15v......... Any ideas here?, is that ok ?
