I did not do the SOA myself but the knuckles were cut and turned and it was done right. It does have a high steer kit and a conversion to a bigger power steering pump (Saginaw). Diffs are stock 4.10's and open front and rear. I live in rural northern Nevada so the authorities around here don't much care about busted lights. As long as the brake/tail/headlights work we are pretty safe. I would give the interior a 7 out of 10. I swapped out the front seats with Can-Am commander 1000 seats but built mounts so they still adjust front & rear. Back seat has a cover on it. Rear cargo carpet is only a few months old. Heater/Defrost and rear heater all work. No A/C as all that was removed. Gauges all work but the light behind the Tach is burned out.
I got this cruiser in 2012 and put in a new water pump, new windshield, windows tinted, had the trans/transfer case serviced with new gaskets, Centerforce clutch, new rear main seal, and new oil pan gasket. In 2013 I broke the left front main leaf so it got new OME medium springs and Pro comp shocks. In 2014 it got new front ring/pinion, all new bearings, brake pads, rotors, knuckle bearings and all knuckle seals.
The on-board air is a compressor with a small reserve tank mounted on the passenger rear fender. The switch and hose hook-up are mounted inside the gas door.
The cruiser was completely de-smogged by me after I bought it. No catalytic converter, no smog pump, no EGR valve and all vacuum lines plugged. I live in Douglas County, NV and we don't have to smog our vehicles here. I suppose it could all be re-done but I don't have any
of the parts. For what it's worth, it gets far better mileage and has more power.
