This is a very original, early first production 4runner. The truck
came to us almost completely stock. We bought the truck two years ago
in TN, at just under 200,000. I've replaced some things such as: a new
radiator, hoses, alternator, cap wires, plugs, fuel pump, new clutch
master cylinder, front rotors and pads, and a new battery last month.
I've set the valves and changed all the fluids, and kept the
oil/filter changed. It's been a very good vehicle for us and runs very
strong. The factory carburetor runs great and starts when cold or hot
with no hesitation. The tires are 7.00x15 and perfect for driving
through snow and mud. We are farmers and the previous owner was as
well, so it's not perfect, but complete. The interior is clean, the
rear window rolls up from inside or out. The side windows slide open
and closed, and I don't believe the top has ever been off. There was
never a back seat from the factory, but the factory mat is there. The
front seats have some rips under the covers. Covers go too, if you'd
like. The outer body has some rust in the rear wheel wells, but there
is no rust on the frame. My favorite factory option is the steel
wheels. All the lights work and so do the gauges inside. Transmission
shifts beautifully as you would expect from a Toyota, and the 4x4 is
unstoppable.

We wanted to get this thread started, but pictures will be added later. Very sad to let this one go!

Vehicle is located near Hillsboro, WV and can be viewed by appointment.
$1800 cash takes it OBO!

BUMP BUMP

MAKE AN OFFER

Forgot to say that there's a GM one wire alternator that is the greatest mod I've ever done.

This is a really great truck and I hate to sell. Was just driving 60-100 miles a day to work with no issues. I just got a '94 truck that will become the daily driver.

Need to get this truck moved. Going on e-bay next week with reserve at $1450. Will trade for a Land Cruiser, FJ40, BJ40, anything Diesel, or Parts, Etc. Let me know what you have. I can drive the 4Runner to meet any reasonable distance (VA or OH)

Bump for a good deal, factory solid axle at a fair price, I'd buy it if I was in the market for one now. Great start for a wheeler or just drive it. GLWS
