1983 toyota landcruiser fj-60 (4speed)

all stock except for 31x1050 bfg ATs.

The good: 148k original miles, good motor, good 4 speed tranny, xfer case shirts smoothly, hubs lock nicely, good paint. New head liner. NO RUST

The bad: No interior carpet, no e-brake, no radio. The dash lights dont work. Needs brake overhaul.

Problem with the truck is this. does not currently run, do to the fact that jim c is currently rebuilding the carb and dizzy for the desmogged 2f engine thats in the bay. The sale will be made once i get these 2 things back from jim c. He has had them since the first week of August, so i should be getting them back any day now.

I am in Fort Myers florida, i really REALLY dont want to ship this thing...Local pick up is a must...

Id like to get 1500 for it... Contact me though email (Lukek85@gmail.com)and ill send you a phone number to reach me at

itll be running at the time of sale of course! it should run alot better then it did with the rebuilds. :)

got the carb and dizzy back from jim c.

nice and clean.

although, i dont have the time nor the funds to put everything back together and get her running.

all it will need is new gaskets for the carb and a nice timing job...

first $1500 takes her...

last bump, need her gone.

come get her before shes used for scrap.

It's tempting, but for me, shipping is a must.

Also, not that you've asked for my opinion, but having a running-vehicle might make the sale a bit easier for you, since someone hundreds of miles away is more likely to fly in and drive it back, rather than trailoring it home.

You say you don't have the time nor the funds to get her running, but how much would it cost to have a local shop slap it on/in, as well as fixing the e-brake and the brake overhaul?

I'd hate to see you scrap it, that's for sure! :frown:

Good luck!

Looks like a nice 60 and would be worth the little bit o cash to get it running first, they sell better that way:hillbilly:....JM .02:meh:

are you really going to scrap this rig? if yes let me know what you are going to get for the metal and let me take it. I will haul it off for you. I am missing my old 60.

Spoony, what is up w/ your truck? Interested. Please PM me w/ the current status. Have cash money.

Sid

junked, no more emails please.

honostly comon man. I would have hauled it off and you would have gotten the same in cash. Your truck was not worth scrapping. :(

i got what i was asking for, you should have emailed me bro, i would have rather you got it then the yard.

This is the worst thread I have read in a long time! You took a rust free truck to the junk yard:confused::confused::confused::confused: Why would anyone do that?

Zack
