if he wants to sell, not our prerogative to convince him otherwise IMO. Enjoy the 100, at least you are moving to another cruiser!

edit: PS - how have you liked the firestone destination MTs? i've got a pair with under 1k miles on them

What's not daily about that? Put some more street tires on it and you're good.

Lack of balls on the highway, limited air bags...Wife complains over and over about the roughness...in general the 100's are more refined. Don't get me wrong, this will be my third LC....Loved my 60, loved my 80 even more, but I just sold my BMW and looking the sell the LX to get one vehicle that can suit both purposes...Therefore...a 100. The V8 is a bit addictive :) and, I have found with a child on the way, the CO roadtrips for true fun are slimmer than none. Never been into rockcrawling...more expedition style.

But....it does still pain me to see her go away...as it did the BMW today.

They roll nice...have been quieter than the BFG's and are holding up well. One took a fair amount to balance, and I have had to play with the pressure to find a ride vs. handling vs. wear ratio that I like. Start running them high, but it about beat me to death...running at about 38.5 now, and they are nice. Had them in some limited conditions, but they hook up better than the BFG AT's for sure. I would have to say, I am pleased so far.

Unfortunately, I am not much of an offroader as I would like to be. Limited to mtn bike trailheads and some ranch driving (Ride my KTM at a buddies ranch) I may not be the best source to ask about all the conditions. If I had to do it again, I might look at the duratrac's just b/c they seem to have a nice cross between the AT/MT's and I have heard they are quiet. Even with double dynamatting on the floor these are still a bit loud....but better than I expected for an MT. Tread pattern looks sweet :)
