Well we did again!
My son and I drove non stop from Ontario to British Columbia for another backcountry ski trip, close to last years location.
1991 HDJ81 on 35" Kenda RT tires loaded with tires chains, chain saw, jack, shovels, spare fuel, etc.
4 snow boards, 2 sets of telemark skis, avalanche gear, radios, sleeping bags, the list goes on.
Anyhow the truck was amazing as always, really like the tires as they handle all conditions quite well. What gives me the fizz is that the tires are 10.5" wide and cut through crap rather than mushing.
Put over 7000km without using oil, but did open the hood to find a surprise in Thunder Bay. Either the 130kph race through the Manitoba prairie pushed up the dipstick or this dipstick didn't seat the dipstick after checking so the engine compartment was coated in oil. Luckily normally pop the hood as in this case to check oil, windshield washer fluid and to grab some Stanadyne fuel additive for the long night haul across the north shore of Lake Superior. So back home unpacking and planning the next ride!
Do i use the hzj75 or the 81? Hmmm.

Holy, lots of cuddling on this trip? must've been into the Jim bean eh. When the kid getting a mud?

Between Revelstoke and Malakwa. We were initially planning further south but that region had an ice layer whereas our upper elevations were very stable.
