If you're comparing static heights of coils , wouldn't they possibly not compress similarly ? So a comparison may be out ...

Whats the weight of the truck you're looking to put them in ?

I PM'd you back, but I think it's important to either know what year, or for the folks who know these springs to understand what you're doing to help you. There are literally dozens of factory springs for the 80 - probably 6 in the US alone.
