Does anyone know where I can buy replacement sun visors for the 80 series or how to fix them?

Theyr'e kinda garbage, right? I bought one online, believe it was from Amayama. Brand new, cheaper than the ridiculous amounts wanted in US for new or used.

Only color they had was gray, not a match for my interior, but I don't care.

Drooping sunvisor fix?

The drivers side sunvisor on my '97 FZJ has been drooping since I bought it a year ago. I know it's a minor thing relative to most of the posts here but it's kind of annoying. Is there a fix any of you can recommend? Many thanks.

80 series drooping sun visor fix

I only know this works for my 1997 FZJ80 40th ann., but it should work for many cruisers. Basically, I drilled a hole through the visor near the mount, put in a small bolt (10mm head and nut) with normal washers and a nylon insert locking nut. I tighten the bolt when it is droopy and loosen it...

Has anyone successfully fixed a droopy sun visor?

Couldn't find any good threads on this. Has anyone fixed droopy sun visor or know of a good replacement? I've seen tundras used but didn't like much.

floppy visors $20 solution

Over the time visors are not strong enough to support on OEM architecture, replacing one - new cost $150+ and if you going on the bumpy road they sometimes fall in your face. So simple $20 solution for both you need: 8 round magnets from e-mail $5 you need only 4 4 small bolts from hardware...
