So I replaced my alternator, started the car, and it was running okay, but I wanted to make sure the timing was exactly right so I went to jump TE1 and E1 terminals, but I had TE1 in and I believe I accidentally touched the B+ terminal with the other end. A small spark and the engine died, and now I can't get the car to start. It sounds like it wants to start but won't fully turn over. I jumped TE1 and E1 (correctly this time), turned the key to ACC, and I'm not seeing the engine codes but I'm seeing this (see photo). Any help would be much appreciated!!

I would look for blown fuses, especially around EFI/ignition (might be combined?). Worst case you may have fried your ECU, but hopefully not!

Now I think there is a certain pattern of telltate lights that will show up or not with the key on, but engine not running. Might be related to fusible links, though. Not sure if there's some that are relevant here.

Thanks for the tip! Just checked for fuses and didn't see any that seemed blown. Not sure what you meant by the second comment if you don't mind clarifying?

Actually it was just a blown fuse (I found one when I checked more carefully). Appreciate it!
Glad to hear it!

I think there's a way you can diagnose a failed fusible link based on the lights that show up / don't show up on the dash. I wasn't sure if it would have any relevancy to ECU or not.

Gotcha. I'll keep an eye on it, but I did some research on the fusible link and I went ahead and ordered one to keep in the glove box. Thanks again!
