It's been a while since I posted any info on my cupholders. Business over the holidays was stupid busy so I went into hiding in hopes of slowing down the orders. The good news is that I survived the holidays and business is back to usual. Figured it was time to let the new guys know what I offer. I currently have 6 different cup holder designs available ranging from $32-$60. There is the front single cup holder, front single with storage tray, front double cup holder, front single square hole insert, double cup holder for the rare few with the hard lid on top of the center console, and finally the rear double cup holder. Any possibility of getting these in a DARK BROWN to match the 91-92?

In your pictures I see some sort of a round holder on the driver's side of the console (ahead of the factory square one). Something new in the works? Or any plans for something in this area.

How 'bout something like the front single (either with or without) the square tray, to mount on the driver's side in front of the shifter?

I have a brown paint that is a close match but has a slight metallic flake to it. I tried many different colors and never found the perfect match. That is as close as I could get. In regards to the single cup holder on the driver side, that will not be coming out. I mounted one on that side of my 80 to see how I liked it and hated it. It was right up against my leg when driving and became very annoying very quickly. The passenger isn't using their left leg (closest to the console) to push any pedals so it's not an issue on that side. Reaching over the console didn't even require me to lean forward from my seat. I can reach the cups in the double and single with ease. Trust me, it's the right spot for the cup holders. The single cup holder can be turned around and used on the driver side (a few have done this) but I highly encourage you not to go that route. It moves the normal resting place of your leg while driving which makes pushing the pedals a tad unnatural which in turn creates a safety concern for me.

Take a look at post #75 on this page. It's about 2/3rds of the way down the page. It shows the brown paint. When the light isn't hitting the cup holder, it looks like a perfect match. When the sunlight hits it the metallic flake in the paint shines back and it gives it a different texture/shine then the OE plastic. That was a close as I could get. If that doesn't work for you, I can always go satin black for the entire cup holder.

Did you submit an order for a cup holder with the brown paint? I looked over the batch of orders that came in over the weekend and don't see any with a note about brown paint. Just want to make sure I don't miss something and accidently send you the wrong color.

Looks like I need to add a bit of info to this thread. I had a few guys order the rear double and not realize there are two versions. The one in the pics above is for the folks with the padded top on their center console. that is what is on my website. About 90% of 80 series got the padded top. The hook on the double cup holder will slide right through the hinge of the padded top. For the folks with the hard top tray on top of their storage console, you need to send me a message you need one for the hard top tray. I will not have the hook installed since the hinge on that particular console is solid and will not allow the hook to slide through. You will have to use the 4 strips of 3M adhesive and the 4 screws provided for install.
