I've done some quick searchung, but didn't find an answer.

I have an FZJ80 with an ARB front bumper and I'm almost certainly going to step up to a hundy soon.

Does anyone know if my ARB bumper will fit on a 100, perhaps with custom adapter for fitment? Are the frame horns even close to the same position relative to the centerline, headlights, grill and hood? Does the LX470 need special consideration due to the hood dipping down lower toward the grill?

Even if it costs a few hundred to get it set up, thats still a lot cheaper than buying another bumper.

thanks

Short answer is no.

Why can't you sell the bumper for market price and buy one proper for your 100?

The 100 series specific bumper has light tabs on the top hoop and will need to be cut off if you are mounting it on a LX.

Thanks. I'm not surprised.

Selling the 80 ARB and buying a replacement is probably the most painless way to go.

I don't have a 100 close by to look at, but saw that the Edmunds shows these two rigs have about 0.4" difference in width. Thought 'maybe the frame horns are close enough to the same spot.' If I could reuse it vs replace it, that's 2 fewer transactions to work through.
