I've been researching the whole solid pinion spacer. I'm not sold on it. I'm going back with a new crush bushing when I regear to 3.54s...

I am on the fence as well. Ken at gearinstalls was adamant about the solid spacers. The guys here at Accurate won't commit to which they would recommend until they get one of them exploded on the operating table. Personally, I will leave the decision to the builder as I'm not really qualified to form an opinion. I ordered the parts for either way.

I should have them in Accurate's hands early next week so it will be interesting to hear what they have to say.

figure out anything on the gears? what was your end result on solid vs compression sleeve

Ended up going with the solid spacer. Front is actually being rebuilt again by Ken this time due to losing the new ring gear at Tuttle.

Both builders essentially gave me the same info. If setup properly the solid is preferable but typically requires several build/tear downs to get the specs perfect. The crush sleeve removes this extra labor and obviously makes things much easier. Many builders have no interest in the hassle nor have the talent to get perfect enough to stand behind it thus refuse to use them.

I still had no educated reason to make the choice...I left it up to the shop doing the work.
