I am setting up a small group buy for some CNC machined aluminum transfer case shifter knobs for 80 and 100 series. The 80 and 100 both have the same shift pattern and thread pattern, so they are interchangeable.
For those running a body lift, he can make the knob so that instead of sliding over the shaft (like the OEM knob) the entire knob would be solid and the bottom would have a hole drilled and tapped for the shaft. You would then have jam nut on the bottom with the knob on top of that, you use this to set the position of the knob so that it is oriented correctly. This will raise the bottom of the knob up about an inch or so. This would be ideal for if you wanted the knob to sit up a little bit higher for clearance to the console. Just from taking measurement, it would probably be plenty for up to a 1.5" body lift.

Height: 55mm (2.16")
Diameter: 48.5mm (1.91")
Necked down diameter (where the shift pattern part is): 35mm (1.4")

Some of the transmission shifters. He can also do some custom etching into the top. I have seen a few folks get TRD, Toyota sombrero, and a few other designs. He can do something totally custom, though it costs a little more and takes a little more time to make as he has to recreate the design for his CNC machine to make. These are very simple to install, they simple screw on.
