Has anyone ever done this? I have seen it done in a 2nd gen truck but never in a T100. I think it would be pretty dang cool.
The idea: Take a pre-96 T100 with a 3.slow or a 2.7 and throw a 7m/5m-ge in there.
The question: I know the 3.slow uses an R series tranny. What does the 2.7 use? The reason I ask is because both the 7m and the 5m have a g series tranny behind them and I don't really want to fork over $350 for a R to G bellhousing adapter.
