79 FJ40 sbc 350 $1500
This is a project I picked up a few months ago and now id rather focus more of my time and money towards my new buggy. Its either a 78 or 79, which is what the original owner told me but im not 100%(if someone can tell me how to read the frame vin i can tell you for sure) It has a sbc 350 which runs great and is currently sitting under the hood using the Bob Firestine engine mounts, I have not bolted or welded it down yet because i had plans on stretching the wb before securing the mounts. Rear drivshaft is in and i believe the front will fit as well. The stock toyota trans and t case have already been adapted and in place, just needs the two trans bracket welded or bolted in place and the hyd clutch hooked up, and after about three wires hooked up this thing will be ready to go. Spring over, lifted springs, shackels, and rear has already been flipped to gain a few on the wb. The rear quarter panels are sheet metal which actually look pretty good and ive also go two sets of front fenders/aprons and an extra hood and grill assembly. Will also be including all the other FJ40 parts I have such as two metal gas tanks and one plastic, extra front and rear axle, another rear axle, pair of front seats in really good shape, rear jump seats also in really good shape, TWO extra trans and t cases, set of leaf springs, extra window and frame(glass in good shape), extra frame in good shape, and a ton of other parts I have. Comes with all the vin plates and clear title for a 76 if needed. Will NOT be including the brand new 42 sx II's that are on it now, unless you would like to give me 2000 for the tires and wheels alone(5 of them). I think my price of $1500 is more than fair just in parts? But let me know if im crazy.
