Looks like you have a good helper! Getting cold there yet? How cold do y'all get?
Nothing crazy.. probly hovers around 15c down to single digits.. had a few occassions where we got sub zero temps with heavy frosts..

no movement on the bodywork of late but jumped on a hzj75 rear disk brake diff for $250 about 3000kms away. now i just need to figure out how to get it home. plan to use 80 series hubs and rotors resulting in same track width as a 60 series diff (what i am currently running).. yay 4 wheel disk brake piggy with 80 series booster and master should make the GVM upgrade and associated brake test a non issue.

sourced another peice of the puzzle.. 80 series diesel dual filler neck.

plan to run the 90l FJ55 tank and a 90l BJ73 tank were the spare wheel goes. spare will be on a swingout off the rear bar.

Haulmax ATT304's in a 8.25R16 (865mm OD) ... the are EXACTLY 50mm larger than the 7.50R16 (815mm OD) variant so work well with aussie modification laws, are 14ply and they fit well on split rims. should wear well.. the bagged out ok on the 40 as I thought they might be too stiff but they seem to be ok.

Great thread and build mate!!!!

Would love to hear your thought on the Haulmax ATT304s
How are you finding them and what kind of terrain down in Tassie have you driven with them?!

Mainly on road but did do one trip off road in them and was surprised by their performance. The terrain changed from diet to sharp rocky slate to middy tracks, all aired down to about 25psi. Wnough to bag them out slightly. Not traction issues that day. On road they were fine in the qet but with a rear auto locker i was pretty cautious. Would recommend them if you run a wagon and habe plenty of go/stop power as they are heavy on a split at about 50kg/cnr.

Weekend just gone I flew up to Victoria for the O.C.K.A (old cruisers kicking ass) 2018 invitational. While not.in my.pig i did start off the weekend in a 69 fj40 with 350 chev. I did get to spend a bit of time.in @Roadkilldovii blue pig and gotta say im pretty smitten with the way his performed over the weekend. Ben has put a 12ht, h55f 5speed, 4wheel disk brakes and 75series supsenaion in his and it really shows how well that platform responds to these mods.

It was comfy inside and capable off road. It wasnt botheres by the washboard roads and tracked straight on the road. It really.gave me the kick up the bum i needed to jump.back into my.build as its been 3.months since any works been done on mine.
