Thats the previous owners doing.. typically when doing a 60s power steering conversion i like to position the pitman arm shaft above the tie rod and as close to the chassis as possible. I have a bj7x pitman arm to go on which has about 10-15mm less droop than the 60 pitman arm.Looks good (except for the rotten bits but we are used to seeing that on a pig) how did you pick the location for the steering box?
Thanks! I really want to pull the glass so i can get a good look at it all but dont want to get ahead of.myself when i havent finished the lower half of the pig yet. Besides im pretty certain the glass is structural at this point. Some work coming on those corners eh? Wonder what my headliner is hiding...
Keep the updates coming, good stuff!

So the other night i had my led shop light down behind the panel id just welded in and found a few oin holes that got welded up today. Finished that side by spot welding and trimming behind the wheel and finished welding up in front.. pushed it out of the shed to clean up before i tackle the other side.. while it was out i slapped the 60 powersteer box back on and tried to fit the bj73 intermediate.. it will need some grinding of the outer to remain collapsible. Also mocked up the f250 shock towers..
I'm thinking you could have a career in pig patching. What type wood furnace are you using?
oh and got enough wood cut to last us a while..
