79-84 FJ40 width FF rear housing

Is anyone looking for a Full Floater for an FJ40? I don't really want to sell it but need the cash if someone wants it. The one I have is complete hub to hub and is out of a 79-84, I also have a rebuild kit that goes with it, or I can rebuild it for you before you take it. No 3rd member. I am looking to get $400 out of it.

Interested in the axle. Does it have the tabs for the sway bar?

No mounts for the sway bar, but I have some from a 60 axle and could easily mock them up and weld them on if youd like if you take it.

Looking at SOR site they show a 8/80 and later not 79. Do you have picture of the brake backing plate. Not sure the the brake drums look as heavy duty as my other FF axle. Going to be running a FJ40 and a FJ45 with split transfer cases. So hand brake in the rear axle is the way to go. I have set of later rear axle brakes complete that looks like they replace the brakes I have now on my FF. The backing plate mounts with four bolts. I believe the backing plate on the earlier axles used six. I want a FF in the 45 but I thinking of installing a E-locker inthe 40 which would require a FF. I already have a later FJ40 semi floater for brake parts.

It is the 80 up, sorry I miss posted. They are the 4 bolt backing plate with a single wheel cylinder, which if i remember correctly is the same as the newer 40's. Do you need the hand brake and floor section from a 60 also as I have one here?

Are you going to be around this weekend? Your around I17 and Carefree highway? Really don't need a floor section from a 60. I have a spare 40 tub with one. Also have both FJ40 and FJ60 handle setups.
