So here is a picture of my regulator, five wires, and I think I have most of them figured out.

I am also using a new EZ wiring harness with both an "alternator power" wire and an "alternator exciter" wire. Where do these go

Coming out of regulator:
White/Green- back of alternator through plug
Solid White- back of alternator through plug
White/Blue- positive terminal on battery?
White/Black- ground
Black/Yellow- igintion power supplied

Going into Alternator through plug:
White/Green- from regulator
Solid White- from regulator
White/Black- to ground

Also on alternator connected via terminal next to plug:
Currently- alternator power wire from EZ wiring harness?

Also, does anyone have color coding for wiring on back of gauge cluster? Preferably the whole plug that powers all indicators? I used the diagram from '78 wiring sheet from Tech Links but I had to guess at some as it does not match up completely with EZ harness.

Thanks in advance.

What is the question?

The EZ wires don't work smoothly with everything on a '78. You either have to make your own wire or use the existing stock wires.

The question was have I labeled these wires correctly and to see if anyone had the color codes for the gauge cluster wires.

I understand that the EZ wires aren't going to match up exactly, I was looking for clarification for whether their alternator exciter wire needs to go to either the regulator and alternator via the white wire,white/green wire or what? Also, their alternator power wire, should that go to the alternator power terminal or should I just run a 16 gauge wire from the alternator to the battery?

OK
I'm not sure that is a voltage regulator plug as there are too many wires.
The regulator has 3 wires:
Black/yellow (16 ga) is the power in to the VR from the engine fuse. It is hot when the key is on. The EZ alternator excitor wire needs to replace this one. You have to keep the VR with the original alternator.
White/green This is the field excitation wire from the VR to the F terminal of the alt. You need this wire. It is OK to replace the wire with new wire.
White/black This is a ground wire between the VR and the E terminal (E=earth=ground). It is redundant with the chassis and frame ground, but it is good to keep this wire.

The large white wire is the main power feed from the battery to the amp meter.

The large white wire with blue stripe is the power output of the alternator (B+) to the amp meter.

The gauge wire color codes are shown in the schematic diagram in tech links for a '78:
The power imput to the gas, oil and temp gauges is light blue/red stripe.
The sender wire for oil pressure is yellow/black stripe.
The sender wire for water temp is yellow.
The sender wire for fuel is yellow/red.
The panel lights are green.
