Flat Nasty off-road park in Jadwin, MO is central. Mild to wild trails, primitive camping and RV sites with electric and more are available. Tornado Alley Cruisers had their Fall Crawl event there and it was a blast.
Both of the previous events were billed as a "Southeastern" get-together. The orginal goal was a weekend event where no one had to drive in excess of 8-9 hours. (An attempt to make it as fair as possible). We also wanted access to a local hotel and restaurants for those who don't desire to camp. If we are going to "branch out" so to speak we may need to expand beyond a weekend event which involves a lot of moving parts. (Driving time, time away from work, etc.)

The original poster may envision an event just for the elite 77 crew.
Missouri is located centrally within the continental U.S. That ensures it is a long way for everyone.

I thought the Troopy guys with their seating for 30, were the elite bunch.
I'm still in favor of the 8 hour (+/-) driving time limit. See you in the Fall if not before.

Part of the appeal of 70's in general is being elite without being elitist.
But yes I was just invisioning an informal get together geared toward 77's but all vehicles being welcomed. No need for isolationism.
My take .... For what it's worth.
In a perfect world I could leave home for a week or so to attend a 70 Series event pretty much anywhere in the country however work and other issues negates my perfect world. For the time being the best I could hope for would be an event somewhere in the Southeast that spans no more than 3-4 days. I realize the U.S. is 2,500+ miles coast to coast
and a Southeastern event leaves out a lot of folks who might otherwise attend. Hopefully there will a point in the future where a mid-country meeting is a reality but that point is not here for me. Since we are on the subject of a perfect world
my wish would be to attract all 70 Series regardless of type.
