77 fj45 videos and pics rusty na

How rusty is too rusty?
This 45 is within a 2 hour drive from where I live and I was thinking about going to look at it. Before I spend a day on a wild goose chase I'd be interested in people's opinions regarding this rust. I know they make steel rocker panels but I have no idea how much a repair of this magnitude might cost...any ideas?
The cheapest new tub I can find is around $2000 and that just seems too much considering how much other stuff this truck is gonna need. Assuming this is the worst of it, is this repairable?

Not a bad old truck. It needs alot of work and I would think you could sink $5000.00 in a heart beat.
So lets do some basic math $6000.00 plus $5000.00 plus getting the truck....... so on,,,,, $12,000 and you have yourself a Fj45 not bad......
When it comes to fixing it thats you working on it for around $5000.00 no bad at all.
