75 Series body swap

Anyone here done a body swap on a 75 series trayback?

Just wondering whats involved?

I am guessing remove front clip, disconnect steering shaft, disconnect brake and clutch lines, disconnect wiring harness and then unbolt cab to chassis bolts and lift off?

yeah its pretty straight forward mate I had my cab off to do a resto, there's 6 body mount bolts, 2 up the front in the radiator panel, 2 at the front of the floor well and 2 at the back you get from underneath, all the wiring harness unplugs, get a couple of boxes of beer and some mates around and 4 of you will lift the cab off easily

It's currently at my mates mechanical workshop. He has a forklift so will be able to lift it off with some straps and the fork

So I dont need to remove the front quarter panels etc first?
The whole lot will hold together when lifted?

yeah you can pull the whole cab off with the front clip still attached
