HELLO ALL,
I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE 75 SERIES FULL FLOATER REAR AXLE WITH DISC BRAKES. WOULD IT FIT UNDER A 65' FJ-40? I FIGURE THE SPRING SADDLES WOULD HAVE TO BE RELOCATED. I JUST WANT A FF REAR WITH LANDCRUISER DISC BRAKES. I DON'T KNOW IF I LIKE USING CHEVY DISC BRAKES LIKE THE CONVERSION KITS HAVE. I READ THAT THE 75'S ALSO HAD ELEC LOCKING DIFFS. THAT WOULD BE NICE!!! WHERE COULD I FIND ONE FOR SALE? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT! :D

The disk FF rear axle was available in as early as 1993 in the J7x series. Not all of them have rear disks, some still come with drums. 80 series parts can be used for most consumables except for the rotors.

gscruiserparts.com has these once in a while:

Again, the electric locker is optional.
