In a package deal I recently made I picked up a 74 FJ55, pretty much complete but somewhat disassembled at least body and seat wise. I am going to part it. Mileage on the odometer is 91K. Will sell the transmission (4 speed) and transfer case from this truck along with everything else needed to install it in a 55 for $375. Includes bellhousing, flywheel, slave cylinder, parking brake cable, speedo cable, shifters, and driveshafts. 1974 was an interesting year, Toyota changed to the four speed transmission (great upgrade) but ran the "3 speed" transfer case (with the lower ratio in low range) for the 74 model year until they ran out of these transfer cases. This unit includes the factory transition gear. This is a great upgrade for any older cruiser with a 3 speed transmission and will also fit an FJ40 or 45- you can use one half of each of these driveshafts matched up with one half of each of your driveshafts to make 'em easily work.
